Reduction of plant protection products: the jackpot of agriculture
If you had passed through Bologna on November 28th, 2022, you would have found “PAN for your teeth" (Italian expression that means “to meet one's match”).
Here, the “PAN” is not the bread but the National Action Plan that deals with the implementation of European directives on the sustainable use of plant protection products.
In Bologna city, perhaps attracted by the “Asinelli Tower” (small donkeys tower), once again the insiders gathered... for a new proposal for an EU Regulation. Course credits for “PERITI” (EXPERTS), in the sense of technicians and not “perished people” as the Italian meaning (past tense of the verb “to perish”), although the term fits the situation well, as well as for agrotechnicians, agronomists, and doctors in the service of pesticide manufacturers, all of whom have their say in a meeting at the right place.
To tell the truth, the story of sustainable use of plant protection products goes back to 2002, the year of our company’s birth, AXS M31, whose mission has been to repair the ecosystem through BioAksxter® depolluting technology. That is, beyond sustainable development. Of course, it cannot be said that in 20 years our aspiration has been fulfilled or that it is within the goals of those who legislate, as the facts show: from 2002 to the present, time has just been wasted between consultations, issuing directives, drawing up implementation plans, and implementing provisions, revisions, so that aims, measures, and timeframes now postpone to 2030. In the meantime, toxicity, persistence, and risk are getting in the way. Good luck.
Good luck, because it is luck that must be voted for at this point. Luck is always present when playing, which is why I recommend a “terno” (a set of three winning numbers in the “Lotto” game) to be played on the wheel of Brussels: 28 50 62 (28 is the day of the event under the banner of ecological and sustainable European agriculture; 50 is the reduction percentage of plant protection products in the Farm to Fork strategy; 62 is the new percentage proposed by the European Commission)… although I believe that the blindfolded goddess herself, by virtue of the times and “sensitive areas” now extended to the entire planet, can only dispense fortune in a malevolent sense, since evil often contributes to the realisation of good.
None of these lords who have climbed on the merry-go-round of agriculture realise that we are travelling on a little ball in space, heading towards a catastrophe. Shadowed by occult intentions, they will make choices in absurd directions. For AXS M31, nothing changes. Just be right with creation. No change of direction? I am grateful to the multinational chemical corporations that provide us with work as farmers use our BioAksxter® products to remove chemical residues from agricultural products and remain compliant. Do they opt for an effective reduction of pesticides? I thank them because they continue to bring us work, as our technology, by depolluting and making the accumulated chemicals in the soils bioavailable, allows farmers to live off the interest for many years.
