Premature leaf drop
Leaf abscission (filloptosis) refers to the premature and excessive shedding of leaves, usually caused by high temperatures or sudden fluctuations, nutrient deficiencies, and, most notably, the deposition of harmful substances through rainfall. These substances damage leaf tissues, leading to lesions, necrosis, and eventual detachment.
Filloptosis reduces vegetative activity, affects fruit size and overall quality, and increases the risk of sunburn on exposed fruits.
The BioAksxter® organic fertilizer enhances tissue resistance to pollutants, preventing both lesion formation and necrosis development, which are the primary causes of premature leaf drop.
