Phenological phase
Phenological phases are stages in a plant's life cycle and development, such as budding, flowering, fruit set, and ripening. More specifically, in wheat, they include germination, tillering, stem elongation, etc. Understanding these phases for each crop is essential for the proper management of agricultural activities, such as:
- determining the best timing for applying plant protection products and selecting the most suitable active ingredients
- scheduling irrigation
- choosing the optimal harvest period
- executing cultural practices at the right time.
Plants adjust the timing and duration of their development phases (phenological phases) based on weather conditions and agricultural interventions.
The natural fertilizer BioAksxter® can be applied at any phenological phase, as it does not alter the plant’s natural development — instead, it optimizes it.
