Light stress due to deficiencies or excesses in the plant
For all farmers looking to maintain crop balance even when working in unfavorable light conditions.
When looking at the horizon, it’s common to notice a hazy band compared to the rest of the sky. This phenomenon, now persistent throughout the year, indicates the presence of suspended dust, particles, and pollutants that cause sunlight dimming. In this scenario, plants must adjust light capture to optimize their metabolism, but if they are not sufficiently reactive, imbalances and serious problems can arise.
Light deficiencies or excesses can hinder a plant’s self-defense mechanisms, leading to stress that can severely impact productivity. A common example is sunburn on leaves and fruits.
Enhancing light absorption is one of the most significant effects of strengthening a plant’s primary programming through the use of BioAksxter®.
Plants treated with BioAksxter® exhibit greater cellular diaphragm activity, allowing for faster acceleration or deceleration of photosynthesis. This enables them to maintain optimal balance, preventing damage caused by light fluctuations. BioAksxter® M31 Serra Fotovoltaica and BioAksxter® M32 Serra Fotovoltaica ensure maximum photosynthetic efficiency, preventing adverse effects from sudden increases or deficiencies in light exposure.
Treated plants develop thicker, broader leaves with a glossier, deeper green appearance. Vegetation growth becomes more balanced and productive, reducing excessive vigor while improving overall plant health, green maintenance operations, and pruning efficiency. Stems become stronger, internodes shorter, increasing robustness and reducing lodging damage. Lignification, bud formation, and maturation are enhanced, while fruit and seed development progress rapidly, ensuring a regular autumn leaf drop.
Sunburn damage is significantly reduced in crops treated with BioAksxter®, and in general, these plants remain compact, avoid excessive stem elongation, and exhibit improved metabolic efficiency—resulting in greater productivity and quality.
To maximize solar radiation capture and prevent light-related imbalances, regular and consistent BioAksxter® application is recommended from the early growth stages and throughout the entire production cycle. Increasing treatment frequency is especially important in critical situations, such as after prolonged cloudy periods or following sudden light changes due to the use of thermal protection fabrics, opening or closing hail nets, implementing shading systems.
