How to prolong crops and extend harvest days
A guide for grape growers, fruit growers, and vegetable producers looking to maximize income by extending harvest days.
Extending the harvest period for vegetable crops or delaying uprooting in the case of vines and fruit trees — while maintaining consistent crop quality — is crucial for maximizing revenue. However, with each successive cultivation cycle, plant losses occur earlier, and quality is maintained for a shorter period, forcing farmers to renew the crop sooner than expected.
With BioAksxter®, crops can be sustained for longer because plants, strengthened and grown in a balanced soil, regenerate more efficiently and overcome environmental stress without effort.
Crops treated with BioAksxter® experience significantly reduced productivity decline and plant losses while extending their biological cycle, resulting in an increased number of harvests. The best results are achieved with regular and continuous BioAksxter® treatments, starting from transplanting or planting and continuing throughout the cycle. Even when applied during the productivity decline phase, BioAksxter® naturally regenerates the crop and extends production.
The prolonged crop lifespan achieved with BioAksxter® has been recognized by fruit growers, for example, with apple orchards over 35 years old that were in clear decline and slated for uprooting. The use of BioAksxter® significantly increased yields, delaying orchard renewal by three years.
Apricot orchards over 25 years old maintained yields of 25–30 tons per hectare for an additional five years. In kiwi orchards over 25 years old, where annual plant mortality had reached 5–10%, BioAksxter® reduced mortality to just 2–3% after the first year of use, extending the plantation’s lifespan by another three years.
Open-field zucchini growers who previously harvested high-quality produce for no more than 40 days extended their harvest by at least 20 days, with peak extensions of up to 100 days. Similarly, strawberry producers who previously had only one harvest cycle were able to sustain strong vegetative growth, achieving a second flowering and a second harvest with BioAksxter®.
