Crop rotation
Crop rotation is an agronomic technique that involves changing, from one production cycle to the next, the species cultivated in the same plot, in order to improve or maintain soil fertility. It contrasts with the monoculture technique, which consists of repeating the same crop grown in the previous cycle.
It is basically a technique based on alternating, after a certain period of time, the cultivation of a certain species with another. The duration of this period is variable; the rotation can in fact be biennial, triennial, etc. A very common example is the wheat-legume-fallow succession.
The use of BioAksxter® limits the use of forced rotation cycles and less profitable crop rotation, proving highly effective in the treatment of tired, depleted and element-poor soils. Its technology allows the agronomic potential of soils to be preserved over time.
