Brix degree / Sugar Content
The Brix grade indicates the amount of sugar contained in fruit and vegetables; the higher the grade, the higher the vitamin content, shelf life and dry weight.
The Brix grade is used as an index of quality as it is directly proportional to the sweetness of the fruit and therefore to its organoleptic pleasantness. The sugar content is a quality parameter that influences the commercial value of the agricultural product; for example, for wine grapes, this value is highly profitable. However, it should be pointed out that in viticulture, the Grado Babo measurement scale is used.
The use of BioAksxter® increases the sugar content of agricultural products by 1-2 degrees on average.
