Botrytis Blight (or Gray Mold)
Botrytis, also known as grey mould, is an aerobic parasitic fungus that affects various plant species, particularly vines, and causes great damage. Infections originate from the conidia, which, dispersed and transported in the surrounding environment with the help of wind and water, spread to the receptor plant organs. During the vine's vegetative cycle, the phenological phases most susceptible to infection are flowering (April-May) and the pre-harvest period in autumn.
In adverse climatic conditions (low atmospheric pressure), during the autumn period, the use of antibotritics can increase the concentration of chemical residues, above the threshold allowed in the regulations (MRL) for the delivery of grapes to the winery.
BioAksxter® natural fertiliser, used consistently throughout the biological cycle, increases the vine's self-defences, making it easier to defend against fungal diseases. It purifies the plant/fruit and soil from pesticides and pollutants, resulting in grapes of the highest quality, excellent for their organoleptic peculiarities in the ratio of sugar concentration/acidity, aroma content and polyphenols.
