Biotic
The term biotic comes from the Latin biotĭcus, itself derived from the Greek word for life, derived from living.
Biotic factors (also called biological factors) are all living forms in the ecosystem. Biotic factors include all plant species, animals, viruses, fungi and bacteria.
The shared conditions of the agro-ecosystem between all species generate interactions and competitions that have an impact in shaping the agro-ecosystem itself, often to the detriment of crops that suffer so-called biotic stresses.
BioAksxter®, a plant-soil balancer, improves the interaction between plants and the agro-ecosystem by enhancing the plants' autoimmune defences against crop pathogens, also facilitating the fight against adversity.
