Berry shrivel in grapevine
Grapevine berry shrivelling (sugar accumulation disorder) is a vine physiopathy related to nutritional imbalances found on several varieties. Not to be confused with rachis desiccation; unlike the latter, there is no damage to the rachis itself.
Wilting causes a loss of weight of the berries. In terms of quality, there is an increase in sugar content in some cases, and a decrease in others. The name sugar accumulation disorder is therefore fully justified. Titratable acidity does not change significantly, but pH values increase. Climatic stress (high temperatures), water stress and nutritional imbalances are factors that can trigger this physiopathy.
By rebalancing the plant-soil system, the use of BioAksxter® solves the problems related to nutritional imbalances.
BioAksxter® can be mixed with other products without any interference; on the contrary, it improves the absorption of nutrients. Regular and constant applications also act as a preventive measure by preventing the occurrence of physiopathologies.
