Alternate bearing
Alternate bearing is the phenomenon that characterises the production of different fruit plants and whereby a very productive year is followed by a deficient one. It occurs when in a year of excessive load the plant is unable to plan the following year's production.
In addition to the predisposition of the cultivar, alternation is caused by the plant's vegetative imbalance resulting from incorrect pruning, water shortages and parasite attacks, which in many cases make this phenomenon irreversible.
The use of BioAksxter® natural fertiliser prevents and reduces the alternation phenomenon. In fact, plants treated with BioAksxter® have energy for both ongoing production and preparation for the following year. This makes the crops profitable.
