Acrotony
Plants with a vegetation gradient that favours the development of apical shoots, i.e. those furthest from the ground, are defined as acrotonous. Many tree plants, such as the vine, apple tree or actinidia, and several forest plants, are acrotonous. The tendency to acrotonia can be limited by certain cultural pruning operations, such as shortening a vertically placed branch or bending the fruiting heads.
BioAksxter® formulations with their balancing function allow excesses to be limited, in one direction or another, determined by environmental conditions, crop management and vigour of the species. As a result, balanced plants are easier to manage, cultivation operations are simpler and faster, and both explicit and implicit costs are saved.
